This has been my most hypocritical blogging week ever.
And today’s post beats ‘em all. (Hi, Honey! Get ready for a good laugh…)
In this vlog, I’ll share with you the power of being sweet…
but, in my home, I’ve been so cantankerous.
Yes, “cantankerous” is the perfect word to describe how I’ve been behaving. Especially at night. When I’m exhausted. And still have things on my “to do” list. And I’m just done. Decidedly not sweet.
Oh, Father, may the fruit of your Spirit shine through me despite my circumstances. Revive me through my own words today. Help me to be sweet.
SO, let’s sit back and watch this one together.

I have never had so much fun watching a vlog before! I smiled big for ya! BTW, you are sweet for doing this vlog!!!
Love the van Morrison! Helped me to practice smiling:)
I just LOVE these vlogs!! Such awesome reminders, and so fun watching you! =)
Love it!
So timely too. I had SUCH a long list of stuff I wanted to get done today … and I was so cranky and snippy. And for nothing too … we got it ALL done before 2pm!
Smiling big … but I dunno about using my husband’s first name … I always call him honey or sweetheart or babe LOL
When I watch your Vlogs, music plays during them and it’s distracting. Also, your sidebar has slipped down to the bottom when I view your blog, (Internet Explorer). Love the new design!
Amy – thanks for the feedback. I’ve been experimenting with lighting, background music, etc. I’ve removed the music behind Thursday’s vlog… let me know if it makes a positive difference.
Ahh, much better.
Thank you, Amy! I’m happy with the peace-and-quiet, too.
Thank you so much for sharing. I cannot tell you how bad I needed to hear this!! I have been a bit cantankerous myself lately!
Please continue to vlog. My daughter and I absolutely LOVE watching you and your girls. We have learned so much and had fun in the process. Thanks again!
Thank you for sharing this. I really needed it tonight! With having a 15 month old and a nearly 4 month old, I find myself very exhausted and not having that sweetness towards my hubby. Thank you!
I loved this when you posted it six months ago. I’ve loved it again and again when I’ve revisted several times since. In fact, I loved it so much that I shared it on my blog today. Thankyou Laura, for hitting the mark and speaking to our hearts.
